Grade 11 Chinese History Class on Lantern Festival

On March 2nd, 2018, the fifteenth day of the first month of the Chinese lunar calendar, all the 11th grade students who study Chinese History came together to cerebrate Lantern Festival. The students were divided into 4 groups to answer questions about the customs of Lantern Festival, lantern riddles, the cultural symbolism of dogs, and to test their knowledge of Chinese history. They discussed this all with each other, reminding themselves of the knowledge they had accumulated, and tried to get more points for their groups. Everyone could sense the happiness in the air. It’s really helpful to consolidate the knowledge they have learned, and gain a better understanding of traditional Chinese culture and customs.
